How Atlas compares
Rating methodology
Atlas separates plan suitability, provider quality and commercial relationships so travellers can understand why a result appears.
Package score
Package ratings use price, usable data, network disclosure, breakout IP, transparency, activation terms, provider reliability, data confidence and hotspot information.
Provider score
Provider ratings use reliability, catalogue quality, price competitiveness, coverage breadth, disclosure quality, fulfilment confidence and data freshness. Neutral inputs are used where reliable history is unavailable.
Contextual search score
Atlas Match ranks plans for the requested destination, trip duration, expected usage and filters. It is separate from the underlying package and provider ratings.
Breakout IP
Atlas reports breakout IP information only when it is supplied or can be supported by imported provider data. Missing disclosure is not presented as a local connection.
Affiliate independence
Affiliate commission does not increase a package score, provider score or contextual search score. Commercial links can fund Atlas while ranking inputs remain separate.
